Our Terms and Conditions
Our full terms and conditions are available upon request. We are a member of the CPA and any equipment that is hired will be on CPA Model Terms and Conditions. The key points of terms and conditions are listed below:
All rates quoted are based on a 5-day 40 hour week – Monday to Friday. They exclude vat and transport charges.
The hirer shall pay the costs of transport to and from site of the equipment.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the equipment is fully insured throughout the hire period. Please ensure that your ‘hired in plant‘ insurance covers the new replacement value of the plant hired. It must be fully comprehensive and include 3rd party liability.
Operation of equipment
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all persons who use the equipment are suitably competent and in the employment of the hirer. The operator should also be covered by the hirers ‘employers personal liability insurance‘.
At the end of the hire, the hirer must terminate the hire period either by calling or emailing the office and obtaining a unique ‘off-hire number‘. Please do not use the equipment after this time. We will collect it as soon as possible.
We will collect the equipment at the end of the hire period and carry out a visual inspection whilst on site, noting any damage and recording it on the collection note. On return to our workshop, it will be inspected fully and any damage notified to the hirer with an estimation of charges to repair.
