CPA Contract Lift 

We can offer you complete peace of mind with our full Contract Lift service which eases the pressure for you on site and relieves you of the responsibility of preparing a crane lift. This takes all the risk and concern away from customers, with a complete and professional tailor-made package where our trained and experienced personnel manage the whole lifting process from initial concept right through to supervising the final lift.

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information relating to both the items to be lifted and for the ground conditions.

Vacuum and Crane are responsible for:

  • Providing a qualified and competent Appointed Person who has the knowledge, experience and understanding of all aspects of the lifting operation.
  • Supplying a qualified and competent Slinger/Signaller and Crane Supervisor.
  • Supplying a qualified and competent Crane Operator
  • Organising the lift and maintaining a safe system of work
  • Supply all Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Ensuring that the crane hired is of suitable type and capacity.
  • Safety and welfare of all people involved in the lifting operation.
  • Ensuring that correct certification for all equipment is supplied.
  • Carrying out all work in accordance with BS7121 and LOLER 1998.
  • Providing insurance cover in accordance to CPA Model Conditions for the Hiring of Plant.

 

     

     

    CPA Crane Hire

    The customer is responsible for:

    • Providing a qualified and competent Appointed Person who has the knowledge, experience and understanding of all aspects of the lifting operation.
    • Providing a qualified and competent Slinger/Signaller and Crane Supervisor.
    • Organising the lift and maintaining a safe system of work
    • Supply all Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
    • Ensuring that the crane hired is of suitable type and capacity.
    • Ensuring that correct certification for all equipment is supplied.
    • Carrying out all work in accordance with BS7121 and LOLER 1998.
    • Providing insurance cover in accordance to CPA Model Conditions for the Hiring of Plant.

     

    In addition, under standard CPA terms, the customer must provide the following insurance cover:

    • Loss of, or damage to, our plant whilst on site.
    • Loss of, or damage to, the goods being lifted.
    • Continuing hire charges whilst the plant is ‘off the road’ for repairs following damage.
    • Public liability, injury to operator, injury to other parties, including their property, arising from the crane operations.

     

    Vacuum and Crane are responsible for:

    • Providing you with a crane that is fully maintained, in a good working condition and certified.
    • Supplying a crane operator that is fully certified and competent for the task.
